Loenfjord Hotel

We had a fantastic stay in Loen! the hotel was situated right next to a fast-flowing river that flowed into the fjord, surrounded by huge mountains. the location was breathtaking. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a nice view of the river. the staff was friendly and provided excellent service. the breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options. We also enjoyed the free use of the swimming pool and sauna at the sister hotel across the road.

The vegetarian options for dinner were limited.

Convenient location near a bus station, so easy and affordable to get around 🚌. Stylish interior decor that is top-notch. Great for a quick one-night stay.

Cozy base for a city trip in Loen! Placed within 40 minutes' car ride to Stranda. In love with loenfjord.

One of the things that stood out about this hotel was the attention to detail. From the clean and comfortable rooms to the friendly and helpful staff, everything was taken care of. I also loved the beautiful views from the lounge and the veranda, overlooking the river and mountains.

This hotel is a hidden gem with an exceptional view of the river and mountains right from your room, just like one of the reviews mentioned. The staff here are incredibly helpful and go above and beyond to ensure you have a great stay. They even suggested nearby attractions like the Kjenndal Glacier, which was absolutely breathtaking. The buffet breakfast and dinner were delicious and had a wide variety of options to choose from. the service was outstanding and the hotel offers great value for the money.

There were a few aspects of the hotel that I did not enjoy. the TV in the room only received a limited number of Norwegian channels, limiting our entertainment options.

The hotel offered mountain bike rentals which was a nice way to explore the surrounding area. the location of the hotel was great, right by the river and with stunning views of the mountains. the staff were friendly and accommodating.

The room was quite outdated and didn't have a lot of amenities. the bathroom was not very clean and had a musty smell.
